 <em><strong>Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimm
 erer: </strong>Kimmerer uses sweetgrass as both an
  example and a metaphor to illustrate the reciproc
 al relationship between Indigenous peoples and the
  land. She challenges readers to rethink their ass
 umptions about nature and to embrace a way of livi
 ng that respects the Earth's generosity. Practices
  such as cycling to reduce emissions\, recycling\,
  and consuming more thoughtfully become part of a 
 broader philosophy of living in harmony with the n
 atural world rather than simply taking from it.</e
